Dante Manila Exhibit
i just came form the ingress of our group exhibit tomorrow at the 3rd Floor of Shangri-La Mall. The exhibit is titled Camminiamo… it’s an exhibit organized by Dante Manile the Italian cultural body of the Italian Embassy here in the Philippines. Exhibit opens at 6pm.

This is the raw pic I took of the parachute lamp installation I made. :) I’ll take a better pic of it tomorrow.

New Oneline event with Creative Commons
We have a new Oneline Demo at the UP Ayala TechnoHub (in Quezon City), this time, Atty. Jaime Soriano will also give a talk on Creative Commons. Oneline is one of our projects over at Ideals that encourages creative individuals to DONATE IN-KIND ( design, photographs, fonts among etc) to NONPROFIT and CAUSE DRIVEN Organizations. :)

It’s the only initiative by Filipino youth, led by Duyan ng Giting, with Ideals Creatives as support collaboration. :-) The ThinkSocial Awards are about recognizing three outstanding examples of innovation, featuring – an individual, an initiative and a collaboration between institutions, which together represent powerful models for how social media can be used to address global problems.

One Tama (www.onetama.com) made it to the official nominations, and the next phase is a voting process.

We need your help! :-) Voting is only until November 1, and we’re currently ranked 4th.

I’m cramming something for an exhibit… The theme is about Italian Scientists who were also Artists…Here’s the plan for the thing I’m making. It’s a lamp based on Leonardo Da Vinci’s Parachute design way way back. Ofcourse I also added my own cutie shape thingies. :)

The Click Initiative
After typhoon Ondoy ravaged the Philippines, we helped by preparing and donating food to the affected people. The people needed more help so we thought why not come up with a campaign empowering all the webusers, since a lot of them were helping tweet and retweet calls for aid and volunteers. Then, my former partner in the Ad Agency Jao sent me a copy for a video idea… It started from there….I asked helped from the usual suspects: Val, Team and Leandro and then we developed the site in a few days. :)

What is it?
The Click Initiative
is a viral campaign
that gives an opportunity for the web user
to take part in a fund-raising effort
for the relief and rehabilitation of typhoon Ondoy victims
by way of influencing the future leaders of the Philippines
to donate a portion of their campaign money.

By simply viewing and spreading this video, we are hoping that our Presidential Candidates will soon take notice and immediately accept the online community’s petition.
